1. Service Description

TaxiBCN1 provides private taxi transfer services in Barcelona and throughout Catalonia. Our services include airport transfers, cruise port transfers, city rides, and long-distance transfers. All vehicles are officially licensed Barcelona taxis operated by professional drivers.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when you complete the online booking process and receive a confirmation email. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup location, destination, date, time, number of passengers, and luggage details.

3. Pricing

• All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT (IVA) at the applicable Spanish rate.
• Fixed-rate transfers: the price confirmed at booking is the final price. Tolls, parking fees, and airport charges are included.
• Distance-based transfers: the price is calculated based on the route distance using our published per-kilometre rates.
• Prices may vary depending on vehicle type, route, and time of booking.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely online at the time of booking via Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other major credit and debit cards. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant. No cash payments are accepted for pre-booked transfers.

5. Cancellation Policy

• More than 48 hours before pickup: full refund
• 24–48 hours before pickup: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: no refund
• No-show: no refund

Cancellations must be made through the booking system or by contacting us directly. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Airport Pickups

• For airport pickups, please provide your flight number at the time of booking.
• We monitor your flight and adjust pickup time for delays automatically.
• Your driver waits up to 60 minutes after your flight lands at no extra charge.
• The driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with a name sign.
• If you cannot locate your driver, call the phone number provided in your confirmation.

7. Passenger Responsibilities

• Provide accurate booking information including pickup location and contact details.
• Be ready at the agreed pickup time and location.
• Wear seatbelts at all times during the journey.
• Treat the vehicle and driver with respect.
• Inform us of any special requirements (child seats, wheelchair access, oversized luggage) at the time of booking.

8. Modifications

Changes to pickup time, destination, or number of passengers should be communicated as early as possible. Significant changes may affect the price. We will confirm any price adjustments before proceeding.

9. Liability

• All our vehicles carry the insurance required by Spanish law for licensed taxi services.
• We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
• Lost property: we will make reasonable efforts to recover items left in our vehicles. Contact us as soon as possible.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, road closures, government restrictions, or pandemics.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
